About Dr. Ziegelbaum

My name is Dr. Brooke Ziegelbaum and I am the clinical director of Kensington Psychology. I specialize in evidence-based therapies for children, adolescents, and adults. Over the last decade, I have worked extensively with individuals to achieve their goals, develop skills, and improve their quality of life through my warm, kind, and direct therapy approach. I use research backed methods in a safe and accepting space with individualized treatment plans to address each person’s specific needs and goals.

My areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, behavior change, parenting skills, and life stressors.

After graduating with honors from Lafayette College, I received my masters degree and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University. I did my clinical internship at Montefiore Medical Center in their dual specialization program, allowing me to treat individuals of all ages. In addition to private practice, I have worked in a variety of other settings including hospitals, schools, partial hospitalization programs, and community mental health centers, most recently at a private practice in Manhattan and in Scarsdale while serving as the head of the Columbia University Global Mental Health Programs’ Young Professionals Board.

For fun, I like spending time with my twin toddlers, hiking, cooking, and reading.
